Buckley Wins Cycle Race At Auckland
[Special to “Northern Advocate' ’] AUCKLAND, This The first open invitation race of the Auckland Cycle Club was held on Saturday at Panmure, in glorious weather. Included in the field of 41 starters were riders from the Whahgarei and Thames clubs. • The distance of the race was 25 miles of the HoWick course. Results:— W. Buckley (Whangarei), (7m 30s), time, 69m 355, I;>A. Goff (7m). 69m 6s, 2; J. Sheehan (6m). 70m 265, 3; K. Fish (6m), 70m 275, 4. C. Knight (scr), recorded fastest time, 65m 40s, a record.
