(Received 10 a.m.) . ; LONDON, June 19. The death occurred todays of Sir James Barrie, famous Scottish author. The original of Sir James’ famous character “Peter Pan,” Mr Peter Davies, was at the bedside wjhen Sir James died. The .end came peacefully after several hours of unconsciousness. It is recalled, that 35 years ago. Sir James was walking in Kensington Gardens when he saw the boy Peter playing with three brothers.. They became his friends and inspired* him to create the boy who would not grew up. Later, the author adopted the brothers, of whom only Peter and Nicholas are now alive.
