Douglas Wins Jumping Double At Caulfield

(Received 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, June 19. The Victoria Amateur Turf Club's June meeting was held at Caulfield today, when the jockey, A. Douglas, won the jumping double with Dak wood and Reciprocal. Details:—

Toolambool Hurdles, of 500 sovs; two miles and 65 yards.- Dakwood. 9.7, 1; Triteleia, 10.13. 2; Jupiter, 9.13. 3. Fourteen started. A length and threequarters; three lengths and a half. Time —3.423. Wanda Steeplechase, of 500 sovs; about two miles and three furlongs.--Reciprocal. 9.7. 1; Seymour, 11.7. 2; Wakerife, 10.10, 3. Seventeen started. Two lengths; five lengths. Time—4.29l. equalling the course record. Rosny Plate, of 500 sovs: six furlongs.—Studio, 9.8, 1; Regular Bachelor, 9.9, 2; Marian Melton. 8.3, 3. Six started. A length and a quarter; three lengths. Time—l.l2s.
