Duchess Of Bedford’s Plane Located?

(Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, March 25.

A Bedfordshire detective has gone to Norwich to examine the wreckage of an aeroplane which was found in the sea off the Norfolk coast, and which, it is suggested, may have been the Duchess of Bedford’s.

A later 7 message stated that the instructor of the Duchess, Flight-Lieu-tenant R. C. Preston, who examined an aeroplane strut, which a fisherman dragged up in his net four miles from Norfolk, said: “I do not think is ours.”

Experts from the De Havilland company cannot say whether it is part of a moth machine.
