A good crowd was present and plenty of musicians were soon procurable. A dainty supjper was served, and shortly after midnight the party broke up with the singing of “For They Are Jolly Good Fellows.” Although most of the campers at Cooper’s Beach left on Friday after the storm, there are still quite a few tents at the grounds. Mr and Mrs Pole and daughter, of Morrinsville, are spending a holiday in Mangonui. Miss Trimnell has left Mangonui for a holiday in Auckland and Hawke’s Bay.
