HEREKINO

A surprise parly was given to Mr Ivan Veza by a group of friends on Saturday night. The evening was ch.tefly spent in dancing. A song was sung by little Viola Hodgkinson and was accompanied by her little cousin Supper was served by the ladies. Mr Harold Wallace and a number of other friends are spending their holidays with Mr and Mrs Ike Reid. Mr Bert Wells who has not been in the Far North for several years, is spending his Christmas holidays with his sister. Mrs Steve Urlich. Mr Morrison is holidaying with Mr and Mrs Frank Baker. Mr and Mrs Arthur Wells, of Hikurangi. visited Mr and Mrs Steve Urlich while holidaying at Awanui. Mr Richard Powell and Mr.W. Powell returned to Auckland on Boxing Day, after visiting Mr and Mrs Joe Veza. Miss Eileen Powell is staying with Mr and Mrs Tommy Curreen. Mr and Mrs Joe Curreen have returned after spending the Christmas holidays away.
