NORTHLAND TRIBE
‘•Advocate” Office, Water St., Whangarei, Tuesday, December 8. 1936. Hello Everybody, That lovely Christmassy feeling is getting into the air once again. Have you felt it yet? Holidays will soon be here for most of you and then, almost before you can blink, it will be Christmas Eve ! Headquarters is getting a double share of excitement at present, for besides stacks of Christmas stories, Christmas poems and Christmas sketches to be sorted out. there’s all the thrill of opening the mail to see how many new enrolments have arrived. Thirty-nine this week, Northlanders! Loud cheers I Our total now is 905. We need 95 more to reach our goal and three weeks to do it in. Think we can? I do. So, shoulders to the wheel, everyone. Even if you can’t get many, get all you can and give our Club a real birthday treat. Talking- cf holidays reminds me that Kupe is having more of them to visit calf-club parades. And even if he does tell me all the interesting things that happen, we can’t have him doing all the gallivanting, so I’m keeping a very careful count of his absences and sometime soon I’m going to have my share. But not till after our Club Birthday. I couldn’t possibly miss the fun at present. Don’t forget those enrolments. Cheerio till next week. 1 . • Princess, Northland Tribe.
