TOP PRICE £42

A large attendance, a very fair yarding, and very keen competition for all classes were features Of the Wellsford horse fair conducted by the North Auckland Farmers Co-op., Ltd., yesterday. The top price was £42, received by Mr Thomas Mason, of Kaipara Flats, fox a very nice seven-year-old gelding. Medium draughts ranged in price from £3B to £42; light, £32 to £3B; springcart horses, £l6 to £3l; hacks, good, £l2 10/- to £18; ponies and light harness horses, £3 10/- to £lO 10/-. A few aged draught mares, good useful sorts, made £3l to, .£.39. .
