NORTH KAIPARA SHOW
The president, Mr J. J. Sutherland, presided over a meeting of the committee of the North Kaipara Agricultural Association at Paparoa on Friday evening. There was a good attendance of members. Tenders for the printing of the schedule were dealt with, and it was decided to this year delete the school section in the back of the schedule. The secretary, Mr T. C. Aickin, said that he circularised the schools in any case, and the expense in printing this section was not justified. On the suggestion of Mr W. D. Collins, it was decided to leave to the executive the question of appointing collectors in each district. The increased interest taken in fat cattle for export was discussed, and it was decided to reinstate the fat cattle section in the schedule. Messrs. A. Cliff, W. Phillips and O. Fenwick were appointed stewards for this section. The compiling of the various classes was left in the hands of the executive. The revision of the schedule occupied the attention of the meeting for the bulk of the evening, and various alterations and amendments were approved.
The following were appointed as the executive; Messrs. E. R. Jenkins, G. Dodds, D. O’Shea and the president and secretary. It was decided to sell all hurdles wifh the exception of thirty.
