The Reserve Bank return for the week ended Monday, June 8, was gazetted last night. The statement is balanced at £28,764,538. or £6,062 more than at the close of the previous week.

The note issue has decreased again, the fall in this instance having been £105,644. State deposits are higher by £613,025, while the holdings of the trading banks have fallen by £414,546. Other demand liabilities are £92,352 lower.

The movements on the assets side have all been of a minor character. The investments have risen by £6326. Exchange is £544 lower and other assets have increased £568.
