Money for Homes...

WHANGAREI BUILDING SOCIETY A loan of £BOO from the Whangarei Building Society is repaid at the rate of £l/6/8 per week This is equivalent to an ordinary rent, the difference being that under a Building Society loan the principal is gradually paid off, -whereas the payment of rent is the same as the payment of interest. Those who pay rent do not make the home their own and those who pay interest still owe the principal. The Building Society has proved its value in Whangarei, not only as a Home Obtainer for its members, but also as a Savings Bank. The Secretary’s Office is in a handy position in Rust Lane. Enquiries welcomed, J. REID, Secretary.
