FINAL CONCERT
WHANGAREI COMPETITIONS FESTIVAL The final concert of the Whangarei Competitions Festival will be held tonight in the Town Hall. All awards won at the competitions will be presented during an interval in the programme. All the prize-winners are not taking part in this evening’s coficert, as if they were, the programme would noc finish until a very late hour indeed. The committee has provided as varied a programme as possible. In one or two instances some of the chief performers are not available. In regard to the very young competitors, it is not the policy of the committee to have these children performing at night.
No encores will be allowed tonight, as the length of the programme makes this impossible.
