“OLD-TIME” PRICES
HORSES AT KAMO. KEEN DEMAND. .The prices obtained at yesterday’s sale of horses at Kamo were the best that have been obtained for some years and* were described this morning as “old time prices.” The tendency seems to be for the horse to return very distinctly to favour. The highest price realised was £45 10/ in the heavy draught class. There was a large attendance of buyers’. , Farmers* Co-op. Report. , About 60 horses were offered by the N.A. Farmers’ Co-op., Ltd. The demand was keen. Heavy draughts brought from £2s to £45 10/; medium; £l9 to £32; useful spring cart horses, £l2 to £24; hacks, saddle horses,. £4 to £l2 10/. . Dalgety and Co., Ltd. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held a successful sale, at which all classes of horses were _ offered. The demand was keen and practically the whole of the entries changed hands. Hood medium draughts realised- £3l; lighter, £2o' 10/ to £25 10/; general purpose geldings, £ls 15/; lighter qualities, £10; aged, £6 10/; hacks, to £6. x
