Yarding at Pajrotai. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having hold their monthly stock sale at Dakota! on Wednesday last. A large number of buyers were present coming from far south as Papakura. Competition’was keen throughout at an advance on late rates, and a total clearance was effected under the hammer. Quotations: —Mediumweight fat bullocks, £4 12/ to £4 14/; lightweight, £4 6/'to £4 10/; 3-year Shorthorn steers, £3 o/ to £3 11/; ,2-year Polled Angus steers, £2 13/; runners, £1 13/; forward dairy cows, £2 10/ to £4. A line of 63 fat and forward Hereford 'bullocks, sold on account of Mr A. J. McDonald, made an approximate average price of £4 10/.

LATEST QUOTATIONS IN LONDON ■ \ LONDON, July 12. Fine gold is quoted today at £G 4/0 an ounce, compared with £G 4/10 yesterday. Silver is quoted at 18 7-lCd an ounce, spot, and 18 0-lCd forward, compared with 17 15-lCd and IS MGd yesterday. The quotation for silver at per fine ounce is 19 7-Bd, compared with 19 3-Sd yesterday.
