ft Master of Corpus at Cambridge, and Elizabeth’s ‘‘unwilling ’’ Archbishop of Canterbury, His Grace sought so curiously into the private lives of priest and parishioner in the province
of Canterbury during his visitation in connection with the new reformed ritual that: his inquisition gained for him the reproachful term of “Nosey Parker.”
