BOUND FOR AUCKLAND
COLLEGE SPORTS TEAMS. HOCKEY AND BASKETBALL. On a pioneer sports visit to Auckland, College basketball and hockey teams left Whangarei by the midday express to-day. Games have been arranged with Training College, Victoria College, Business College and St. David’s. The tour will be a strenuous one and the girls ■will return by the late train on Saturday. , The teams arc;— Basketball. —Misses Kernohan (captain), Wilson, Smeale, Lacey, Cameron, Johnson, Edwards, Williams and Mnnro. Hockey.—Misses J. Christie (captain), McNaughton, Wright, W-ilson,’ Courtney, Baigent, McKenzie, Abbott, Brown, Paynter and P., Holmes. i Miss M. Wigley (manager) and Mrs'. McLeod (coach) accompanied the teams.
