Tlu- King’s Cup was won by Mr Sop-wit-li’s c utter Shamrock, with the King’s Britannia less than a minute bcbehiud, and,Mr Stephenson’s White Heather third.
Only a gentle breeze was blowing on the 'Solent today. Shamrock won the King’jS- Cup last year, when she was owned by the late Sir. -Thomas Liplon. *-1
