-MUSICAL COMPETITION’S. CROWNING NATIONAL BARD. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 9.30 a.in.) RUGBY, August 3. The National Eisteddfod, the greatest event, in the Welsh calendar, is being held at Glamorgan this week. The programme, whieh attracts Welshmen from all corners of the world, ine.lndes competition in choral, instrumental and solo music, an address in Welsh by Hr Lloyd George, and the frowning of Ihe national bard for the rear.
