The Public Accounts for the year are gazetted today, but the usual summary is not furnished by the Treasury, as it explains the ground has already been covered by the Prime Minister in hi® public addresses. It may, however, be stated that the ordinary' revenue for the year is shown as £22,864,723. Amongst other receipts wore territorial £198,802, departmental receipts by Justice, printing and other departments £525,063, credits in reduction £1,183,016.
The expenditure ,includes interest £.l-1,339,568, under Special . ;A;cts £6,273,196 and annual appropriations £9,094,218. ' The Public Works Account shows a balance in baud of £3,889,083.
