DR. GUNSON’S BOMBSHELL

PROVES TO BE A “DUD.” LONE-HAND ATTACK. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A statement by Dr E. B. Gunson that he had no confidence in what ho termed the “Wallace policy” of t'he Auckland Hospital Board, raised a storm, of protest at the first meeting of the new board yesterday.

Dr. Gunson dropped something in the nature of a bombshell into the proceedings by suggesting that no committees should be appointed until a Special Committee, with, himself as chairman, had drawn up a. comprehensive policy.

After a heated discussion, Dr Gunson's proposal. was put to the vote and he was its only supporter.
