AUCKLAND, This Day
The Auckland branch of the N.Z. Farmers’ Union decided unanimously to protest against the Government withdrawing the cash on delivery svso > tern through the Post Office.
It w*as stated that the system had been of groat benefit to farmers in scattered areas. Mr H, M. Rushworth, M.P., said the Post Office returns showed that the system had been profitable.
