BLAZING AEROPLANE,
PILOT’S WONDROUS ESCAPE

The pilot-mechanic of a French Air Union freighter miraculously escaped death by diving 5000 feet when the machine took fire in midair when passing Tonbridge.
On reaching the ground he managed to jump clear of the cockpit before the flames enveloped the machine.
