COLLISION SEQUEL
TAXt DRIVER IN COURT. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) INVERCARGILL, This Day. As a sequel to the death of Edward Williams, through a collision between a motor cycle and a taxi, Patrick John Duggan, driver of the tatter, was charged with negligent driving. The Magistrate,' Mr J. G. L, Hewitt, held that though the defendant had committed a breach of a by-law in turning at a wrong point, there was no evidence of negligence. Duggan had crossed carefully and the cycle hit him from behind. The charge was dismissed.
