WELLINGTON, This Day.' The Howard League yesterday elected the following officers:— Patron, Lady Alice Fergusson; vicepresidents, Archbishop O'Shea and Archbishop Averill, Messrs J. A. Young M.P., and H. G. R. Mason M.P, Misses Joan Begg and B. E. Baughan; honorary secretary, Mrs Yates; honorary treasurer, Mr A, W. Page; committee, Miss Baughan (chairwoman) Messrs Laing, Mackie and Miss E. Hunt; vigilance committee, Mrs C. S. Young, Dr; Sutherland -and Mr A, W. Free. It was decided by resolution that, the executive he located entirely at Christchurch.
