OPERATOR BURNED. AUDIENCE LEAVES QUIETLY, AUCKLAND, This Day. Four thousand feet of film were destroyed by fire during a session at the Royal Theatre, Kingsland, last night. The operator, Mr A. Trail, was slightly burned when the film burst into flames. The Mount Albert Brigade arrived in time to prevent damage to the operating box and apparatus, Trail having removed the film from the projector and there Avas Very little excitement, the audience leaving the theatre quietly before the brigade ar-rived.-—Press Assn.
