PROGRAMME DRAWN UP. STAKES TOTAL £llsO. The executive of the Northland Trotting Club met last night, the president, Mr L. J. Brake, being in the chair. There were also present Messrs C. L. Grange, A. F. Thomson, H. S. McKenzie, A. Dawson, H. W. Crawford, W. Abbott, L. R. Nelson and L. W. Nelson. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs A. Clarke and F. 0, Armstrong.

Prior to the commencement of business votes of condolence were passed to the relatives of the late Hon. Richard F. Bollard and C. L. Storey. The motions being carried in the cnstomafy manner. ACCOUNTS. Accounts amounting to £146 3s 9d ■were passed for payment. Of this amount £IOO was to liquidate the club’s liability to the Borough Council in connection with the sanitary improvements at Kensington Park and £4l 7s 6d was passed to the Whangarei Racing Club in payment of the club’s share of the recent refreshment room improvements, effected by the Racing Club. MEMBERSHIP ALTERATIONS. Several resignations of members were received and accepted, and new members were elected as follows: Messrs R. .J. Organ, F. H. Thomas, W. H. Muir, R. N. Galpin, G. Beattie, C. Powell, W. Middleton, M. Griffen, J. A. Wilson, H, N. Hawken, J. Rika, J. Parry and R. E. Danes. MEMBER OF COMMITTEE. Mr G. W. Bennett was appointed to fill the vacancy on the committee. STAKES FOR DECEMBER MEETING. It was decided that the stakes for the December meeting be £ll3O plus a 25 guinea silver cup to be presented to the winner of the Northland Trotting Cup. PROGRAMME. The following programme was adopted by the executive, subject to the conditions of the President’s Handicap being approved by a sub-commit-tee comprising the president, and Messrs L. R. Nelson and W. A. Abbott. —

1. —Dargaville Handicap (harness), lOOsovs. First 75 sovs, second 15 sovs, third 10 sovs. Distance one mile and a half. Limit 3.39. 2. —‘Whangarei Handicap (harness), 100 sovs. First 75 sovs, second 15 sovs, third 10 sovs. Distance one mile and a half. Limit 3.48. (For unhoppled trotters only). , 3. —Northland Trotting Cup (harness), of 300 sovs, including cup valued at 25 guineas. First 200 sovs and cup, second 50 sovs, third 25 sovs. Distance two miles. Limit 4.42. 4. —Counties Handicap (harness), 100 sovs. First 75 sovs, second 15sovs, third 10 sovs. Distance one mile and a half. Limit 3.50. 5. —The President’s Handicap (open), 200 sovs. First 150 sovs, second 35 sovs, third 15 sovs. Distance two miles, open. Limit 4.50. 0. —-Kawakawa Handicap (harness), 150 sovs. First 120 sovs, second 20 sovs, third 10 sovs. Distance two miles. Limit 5 minutes. (For unhoppled trotters only). 7. —Kaikohe Handicap (saddle), 100 sovs. First 75 sovs, second 15 sovs, third 10 sovs. Distance one mile.
