South Island. —Beef (quarters), 69 (519); wether mutton (carcases),9336 (10,751); ewe (carcases), 1802 (3758); hfmb (carcases), 139,170 (208,239); pork (carcases), 34 (13); boneless beef (freight carcases), 1634 (2767). STOCKS ON HAND. Stocks on hand in stores in New Zealand on January 15th, 1926, were as follows.
