REVOLT IN PORTUGAL
SHORT-LIVED RISING VIGOROUS ARTILLERY DUEL. LEADERS IMPRISONED. ; (Received 9.32 a.m.) LISBON, February 4, J The rising lasted 24 hours. Prisoners tahcn numbered 120, including Major* ■Almada, who was in command of two batteries of artillery concentrated op« posite Lisbon, which fired a number! of shells towards the capital, injuring 13 people and damaging a number of houses. w i The fortress' of San Jorge replied vigorously. The duel lasted three? hours. A rigorous state of siege was established and order restored.
