' * The following information about an unknown New Zealand soldier, who died in France, is contained in a letter from the Department of Internal Affairs to the secretary of the Christchurch R.S.A:—“Advice has been received ‘’from the Imperial War Graves Commission of the recovery of the remains of an unknown New Zealand soldier at Map Reference Sheet 28, Dl3, C 53, and that the body has been reburied in Plot 11, Row E, grave 7, of Bedford House cemetery enclosure No. i Ziliebeke. The only identification was a colour patch of the First Battalion, Wellington Regiment, and a full set of artificial teeth. T should bo glad if you would bring this under the notice of your members, as it is passible that one of them may be able .'■l give sufficient information to lead to the identity of this soldier being established.”
