MELBOURNE’S MILK SUPPLY
WELLINGTON AS PATTERN. (Received 12.48 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Proposals by the chairman of the health committee of Melbourne City Council, Alderman Stapley, for the establishment of a municipal milk supply for Melbourne, were considered by the council. Alderman Stapley i submitted a report on inquiries made into the Wellington supply during a visit to New Zealand. The committee proposes to invite Mr Heron, manager of the Wellington milk supply to visit Melbourne and submit a report on the project.—A. and N.Z.
