A FORD ANNOUNCEMENT

MARKED IMPROVEMENTS,

The identity of the popular Ford car will be greatly altered in the near future, for the latest models are changed completely and no- longer will the Ford be so easy to single out. In presenting the new production the Ford Sales and Service Depot of Whangarei do so with pride, for a new departure from previous standards is a noteworthy feature. The body is much longer and lower, more roomy, and the new Ford is now an automobile which anyone would foe proud to own. The graceful stream lines of its low allsteel 'body impel instant admiration, while other refinements add new utility to this wonderful proposition.

The main point, which is the subject of much comment, is that the purchase price is lower than ever before. This new model comes to the purchaser fully equipped for the road, there being no extras to buy, and the equipment includes an electric starter, five cord tyres, larger and improved steering gear, windshield wiper, rear vision mirror and dash lamp. The body is finished in a charming shade of nutria fawn, with nickel-plated radiator, and it is confidently asserted that the new production will win enthusiastic approval wherever it is shown. A few of the improvements explained will no doubt be of interest to present Ford owners, .and also to prospective purchasers. The body as full streamlined and all-steel construction, 4$ inches longer, 5 inches wider, 3£ inches lower from top to road. Side curtains on upright, opening with doors. Doors wider, opening forward. Seats re-designed for increased comfort, inches lower from .top seat to floor or 4 inches near to the ground. Front seat 3 inches wider, rear seat 5 inches wider, additional 3s. inches between front and rear seat, giving more room

for passengers and increased floor space. Compartments under both seats for curtains and tools. Hood improved, one-man design. Tank under cowl dash. Improved wind-shield. It will therefore be-seen that the •STew Beauty Ford is entirely changed and the 1926 model is worthy of the closest consideration by those considering the purchase of a serviceable car. Amongst other Ford products display- i ed at the Spring Show mention must | be made of the light delivery van, | fitted with a Canadian all-steel body. ; Here is a vehicle highly suited for delivery work of all kinds and no doubt the utility of this model will appeal to those requiring one for commercial purposes. The one-ton truck will also be displayed. 'Carriers have found this to be the most suitable truck for cartage purposes. Farmers and contractors will profit by a visit to the firm's stand, where in addition to the Ford products mentioned a Fordson Tractor fully equipped will be shown. Make it a point while visiting the Show ;to call on the Ford display. The Ford Sales and Service Depot is situated in Walton Street, Whangarei, where a'staif of expert Ford mechanics is at the disposal of all motorists. Stocks of benzine, tyres, oils, etc., are always on hand and ithe management will be pleased to meet all interested in Ford service and show them through the up-to-date garage. 24
