Thf- following were the remaining results of events on the concluding day of the Takapuna Jockey Club's spring meeting:— St. Andrew's Handicap, of 700 sovs; one mile and one furlong.—Gold Kip, 8.11, 1; Stork, 8.0, 2; Tinohoro, 8.4, 3. Tama-a-roa, Insurrection, Arch Salute and Queens Up were scratched. Won by a length; three-quarters of a length between second and third. Time— lmin 54 l-ssec.
Rakino Handicap, of GOO sovs; five furlongs.—Uncle Alex, 9.6, 1; Refinement, 8.12, 2; Ad Astra, 7.4, 3. Miss June was scratched. Won by a head. Time—lmin 3sec.
Pupuke Handicap, of 300 sovs; one mile and one furlong.—Boomerdav, 9.8, 1; Some Fashion, 9.8, 2; Mangawhero, 8.4, 3. Te Akitai and Penniless were scratched. Won by two lengths. Time— lmin 56 2-ssee.
Ivawau Hurdles, of 300 sovs; one mile and three quarters.—Loyal Arch, 10.10, 1; Otara, 9.0, 2; Multiplane, 9.2, 3. Won by two lengths and a half. Time—3min 20sec.
"Welter Handicap, of 450 sovs; seven furlongs.—Archie, 9.3, 1; Rockfield, 8.9, 2; Royal Abbey, 10.9, 3. Won by two lengths. Time —lmin 27sec. The totalisator handled £67,944 10s as against £66,543 on the concluding day last year. The turnover for the meeting was £136,910, compared with £134,379 10s for last year's spring meeting, an increase of £2530 10s. —Press Assn. FEILDING MEETING. FIRST DAY'S RESULTS. FEILDING, This Day. There was beautiful weather and the course was in perfect order for the first day nf the Feilding Jockey Club's race.?. Results:— Waituna HurdleS, of sovs; one mile and (three-quarters.—Kyoto, 9.13, 1; Ivipling, 10.1, 2; Ore Ore, 11.5, 3. All started. Won ensily by three lengths. Time—3min 20 4-ssec. •Aorangi Trial Plate, of 200 sovs; six furlongs.—Roman 1, Matareke 2, Lady Thumham 3. Big Chief, Triboulet, Sleeping Beauty, Cochineal and Gold Snip were scratched. Won by two lengths. Time—lmin 16 4-ssec. • St. Andrew's Handicap, of 750 sovs; one mile and a half.—Paoanui, 7.12, 1; Egmont Park, C.12, 2; Pluto, 8.10, 3. Rouen and Affectation were scratched. Won by a neck. Time—2min 36 2-ssec. Flying Handicap, of 400 sovs; six furlongs.—Amber Tips, 6.12, 1; Dainty Step, 9.1, 2; Bonny Briar, 6.12, 3. Time—lmin 1 3-6 sec. Fitzroy Hack Handicap, of 200 sovs; six furlongs.—Celmisia, 9.4, 1; Warrawee, 8.2, 2; Mixture, 8.1, 3. Won by three quarters of a length. Time— lmin 15 l-ssec. Kiwitea Welter, of 350 sovs; one mile and 54 yards.—Miss Gold, 8.13, .1; American Beauty, 8.6, 2; Ngata, 8.13, 3. Won by a neck. Time —lmin 45 2-ssec. The totalisator handled £29,499 as against £44,704 on the first day last year, a decline of £15,205. —Press Assn.
