BUENOS AYRES, Oct. 7.

A German shipyard! firm informed the Argentine Government that it would be unable to deliver the 40,000 ton floating dry-dock which it undertook to construct befor e the war. The dry dock is completed, but the shipyard lacks, the towing equipment; with whJich to bring it to 'Buenos Ayres. The company asked the government either to supply its own towing or to accept a refund of the money paid on account.—A. and N.Z.
