OSTROLENKA CAPTURED
(Received 10 a.m.) WARSAW, Aug. 26. After hard lighting the Poles captured the fortress of Ostrolenka and forced a passage over the -farev River. The Bolsheviks were surrounded near Mlava and after a desperate struggle to break through a portion succeeded in escaping eastward. . The Bolsheviks in Eastern Galicia lire retreating on the whole front to sivoid v threatening flank attack from the north. _ General Lanezan, of France, com mands tho Southern Polish front.—A and N.Z
PARIS, Aug. 2b. Marshal Foch, questioned as to the operations in Poland, said that everything was going well. The Bolsheviks were breaking up and sensational developments might be expected.—A. and N.Z.
