A GREAT ORGANISATION

DODGE MOTOR ENTERPRISE,

The wonderful achievement of Dodge Bros, in turning out 500,000 motor cars in 07 months was the occasion of a unique gathering of the workmen of the factory on July 1. The manager of the company referred to the enormous growth of the business since the first car was turned out in December, 1914. At that time the factory covered only 20 square acres of ground, but since then business had increased to such an extent that it now spread over 100 acres, and this would shortly be increased to 120 acres. In December, 1914, 245 cars were built whereas, in June, 1919, 15,000 cars wore built and shipped. At the gathering car no. 500,000 was exhibited on a platform, and was a tangible testimony of what can be achieved by organisation, and co-operation between employers and employees. As the manager remarked the Dodge car was built on honesty, and is marketed on honesty, and that was the reason of its great success, The Dodge is rapidly becoming one of the best-known cars in this country, and is meeting with unusual favour among all sections of motorists. The agents, Messrs Smith and Woodman, of Water street, always keep on hand complete spare parts in order that the owner of a Dodge need never bo off the road. Remember that you can always sell a Dodge if you desire to do so. It is on the mar : ket to stay. There have been numerous enquiries from prospective buyers and those wishing to secure a sound, serviceable and well-finished car should enquire at the firm's garage, Water street, and obtain all particulars. 31
