The miners' delegates attending the Laibour Conference considered the Government's statistics in explanation of the increase of 14/ per ton in the retail price of coal, and challenged the accuracy of the figures. They declared the increase unjustifiable, and decided to recommend the impending Miners' Conference to de mand a big share of the increase. -Probably the demand will <be 5/ per week. —Reuter.
