Additional tax will . accrue if the tax is not paid on or before 26th February, 1920. The liability to pay is not suspended by any objection. The tax should be ; paid on or before the prescribed date, otherwise the additional percentage accrues: any overpayment will be adjusted by refund. The demands will be posted from the office of the Commissioner of Taxes on or about the 29th January 1920. Note.—IMPORTANT. A delay of some days will take place in the issue of the demands for the following: Individuals whose surnames commence with the letters C. D. H. I. J. X, Mc, N O. P. T. W. * In these cases a new due date is fixed—viz., 26th February, 1920— will be fixed as provided by section 127 of the Land and Income Tax Act 1916.
