The Whakatan.e Borough Council is asking ithe Minister of Internal Affairs, to include Whakatane in the Prince of Wales' itinerary for the purpose of seeing typical rural life; also the famous native habitat, the sacred rock of Pohaturoa, as the cradle of tlie race; also various redoubts and White Island.—Press Assn.
