SINN FEIN INCREASES

The Sinn Fein did not obtain the prodieted sweeping victory s;t the Irish mnnicipnl elections, in which proportional representation was introduced. The Sinn Fein had small majorities in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and other towns in the south and west. 7'he Labour Party, which is favourably *t6 the Sinn Vein, secured the next Uigest representation. The Unionists, Reformers, Nationalists, aud Independents combined have substantial representation, ihough in the minority.—-A. and N.Z.
