CARGO LINERS
SHIPBUILDING PREFERENCE,
U.S. ACTIVITY. WASHINGTON, Dee. 14. It is announced that the construction division of the Shipping Board will have delivered six millions tons of shipping by the end of 1910. It recommends the construction of seventy cargo liners, totalling 800,000 dead weight tons. It is against the building of large passenger steamers. —A. and N.Z.
