ROWING CHAMPIONSHIP
BARRY'S NEXT BID
ROYALTY CONTRIBUTING
LONDON, Dec. 14
The Prince of Wales has contributed to the fund now being raised to send Ernest Barry, the sculler, to Australia. With this lead the sporting world of Britain should quickly subscribe the £1000 required to complete the fund. It is indeed curious 'that subscriptions have been so slow in coming in. The Prince of Wales' covering letter says that he is anxious to show his interest in the sculling championship.—A. and N.Z.
