AGAINST EX-ADMINISTRATORS

(Received 10.40 a.m.)

DARWIN, This Day,

The commission has commenced hearing evidence in the charges against Judge Bevan, Mr Carey, and Dr. Gilruth —that they were all interested in a mine at Daley River, of which the lease was granted by Dr. Gilruth; that land at Daley River was demanded for Judge Bevan and Dr. Gilruth, who were the real owners; that they shook the confidence of the people of the Northern Territory to such an extent as to cause trouble.
