LONDON, Dec. 15. The British troops have now withdrawn south to a line from Beirut and north to the Gulf of Alexandretta, with a sphere extending towards the Euphrates while the hinterland, including Damascus and Aleppo > comes under Arab rule under Emir Feisul. —A. and N.Z.
