MRS "GENERAL MITE."
REMARKABLE DIMINUTIVE
WOMAN,
CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Tho death has taken place of Mrs General Mite, aged forty-one.
The deceased, who was three feet three inches high and weighed 2 stone 41bs, made her first appearance in public in 1891, in the Isle of Man. Subsequently she appeared by Eoyal command at Marlborough House before King Edward tho Seventh; also before Royalty on tho Continent.
Her death occurred while she was boarding a train in the city. With her husband, General Mite, she toured tho Dominion some years ago.—Press Assn.
