AFTER LOSS AT PULKOVA. (Received 8 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 21. A Bolshevik wireless states that Trotsky presided at a special meeting, of the Petrograd Soviet and formed a military council for internal de-w it-ace. —U. Service. The North-west Russian army yesterday occupied Pulkova, ten miles south of Petrograd. General Vladimiroff, who recently escaped from Petrograd, has been appointed governor-general, in anticipation of th« fall of the capital. There was a heavy artillery duel ysterday between the Allied fleet and the fortress of Krasna Jagorka, in the Gulf of Finland. Afterwards a great fire and explosions were observed. It is believed that they occurred in Oranienbaum ) 25 mile s west of Petrograd on the south shore of the Gulf of Finland. —Reuter.
