WHANGAREI CHAUTAUQUA
A Hamilton citizen, passing through Whangarei, was asked by an "Advocate '' representative as to the success of the Chautauqua movement in his town." His reply was very optimifetic, intimating that the return visit of the association was even more, successful, and that the list of guarantors was more than met, the number being a*x in excess of the requirements. As a further testimony to its popularity, lie stated that the adjacent towns of Cam bridge, Huntly and Te Awamutu aro also applying for Chautauqua.
