WAIKIEKIE SPORTS.

The people of Waikiekie and surrounding districts are looking with keen interest to the sports being promoted by the Bailway Construction Workers' Union for Labour Day. A splendid programme has been arranged and prize money is available up to £3E, while business linns have generously contributed valuable trophies. Tho Whangarei Pipe Band will be present on the grounds and help to enliven the proceedings. Refreshment booths will also be provided on. the ground so thai the "inner man" will receive full attention. With line weather the sports should establish a record for Waikiekie.
