(Received 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 23. The Seamen's Union has called a stop-work meeting for Thursday, to discuss the result of the recent conference. It appears that trouble is brewing owing to some of the owners refusing to sign the new agreement.—A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE, Sept. 23: The Seamen's Union resolved that unless Walsh is released on Wednesday morning a stop-work meeting will be held. The Union recommended brandies in other States to adopt a similar course.—A. and N.Z.
