PERSONAL.

Mr and Mrs A. B. Christian are expected to leave England on their return to New Zealand next month. They have aeen away from Whangarei for about six years. Second-Lieut. Clifford Cameron, second son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Cameron, of Hora Hora Valley, Whangared, returned home yesterday morning, after almost four years' active service. Lieut. Cameron, who, prior to enlistment, was one of our leading young footballers, and also an enthusiastic member of the Municipal Band, received a warm welcome home by his former friends and associates. The returned soldier reports himself as being in the "pink Of health."
