WHANGAREI RUGBY UNION.

A very successful; meeting of the Whangarei Rugby Union was held last night, there being present a good attendance of members. Arrangements were made for a match against the Bay of Islands at Kawakawa on September 20.

It was agreed to meet the Otamatea reps, at Whangarei on September 13 for the Harding Challenge Shield.

In all probability the A reps, will meet the Otamatea's, while the B's will try conclusions with the Bay of Islands' reps.

The secretary was instructed to write to the defaulters at last Saturday's match requesting them to appear before the union at its next meeting , to give an explanation of their conduct, failing which they will be dealt with as the union sees fit.
